The American made Auto-Ordnance 1911TCAC6N model incorporates a variety of upgrades popular with modern shooters. It features an adjustable trigger skeletonized hammer full-length recoil guide rod extended beavertail grip safety and extended magazine release. Frame slide and barrel are made from high quality stainless steel. The slide sear and disconnector are precision manufactured then heat treated properly for durability over many thousands of rounds. The slide has decorative cuts and front cocking serrations. Both mainspring housing and front strap are machined checkered at 20 lines per inch. Four Cerakote® finishes are available: Savage Stainless Northern Lights Black Cherry and Burnt Bronze. The match grade barrel is 5 in length and chambered in .45 ACP. – The Savage Stainless guns come with either TruGlo® night sights or Combat Day sights and gray G10 grips. All other finishes come with Combat Day sights and Armor Black Cerakote® custom Aluminum Billet Grips featuring the A-O logo. The pistol has a thumb safety grip safety and firing pin block.
